Elizabeth Steiner's original watercolor from Old Salem's historical collection provides the lovely design interpreted on this pillow. The twelve-year-old artist was the third daughter of Abraham Steiner, the esteemed principal of the Salem Girls' Boarding School. She inscribed the picture with her name and the date, 27 April 1812, which was her father's birthday. Equally wonderful in a bedroom or living room.
