traditional Moravian Star design. Our pillow is down-filled for
extra softness, and the cover is removable for cleaning. The embroidery on the pillow is white-on-white.

The Moravian Star incorporates a motif that has been carefully adapted from a 26-point star that originated about 1850 in Germany, as a drawing exercise in a Moravian boys school. The star is typically displayed during the Advent and Christmas seasons by Moravians worldwide, though it is said to have been originally created for an Epiphany celebration.
