The Moravian star originated as a drawing exercise in a Moravian boys' school in Germany around 1850. The Moravian church adopted this star as a symbol of Advent and the Christmas season.

Our Moravian Star Kit is adapted from this design and consists of a translucent 26-point, 21" star, electrical cord, and bulb. It may be hung indoors or outside in a sheltered area and is made of durable plastic. Assembly is required.
