Go to the Devil & Shake Yourself was recorded to honor the drummers and fifers of the 1800s. It is a compilation of music rarely heard today that was played on battlefields and during dances, funerals, and marches. Many of the tunes have never been recorded. Selections include Blue Ridge Quick Step, Bear Grass Waltz-Owl Creek, and Shenandoah March-Twelfth Virginia. There are twenty-one selections in all. Includes a detailed booklet with a history of the music.

The Carolina Fifes & Drums is a non-profit organization comprised of musicians from throughout the Carolinas. They have many years of experience recreating Civil War field music as members of the 26th North Carolina Regiment and 25th North Carolina Regiment reenactment groups.
