Fretwork Pillow
The pattern on our custom Fretwork Pillow was inspired by the fretwork on a double chest with secretary (1765-1775, Charleston, South Carolina), which is in the collection of the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts in Old Salem Museums & Gardens.
This fret pattern is popularly known as the "Elfe" fret after the cabinetmaker Thomas Elfe, to whom many pieces with this decoration have been attributed. Our soft, pale green pillow is 100% polyester for easy washing with a 100% polyester fiberfill insert. It measures 16 "x 16" x 2". 14680 |
