Rod In Hand Drawer Pull, Brass

A hand clutching a rod was a frequently used motif in the nineteenth century.

John Vogler (1783-1881), a well-known, multi-talented artisan from Salem, North Carolina, used this clever image when he made three brass door handles for his new home in 1819. Much to the delight of visitors, one still embellishes the front door of his home on Main Street in what is now Old Salem Museums & Gardens.

Our exclusive drawer pull will be a wonderful and distinctive addition to your home decor. With a natural brass finish, it measures 2-1/2" x 1-3/16".
