Moravian Punched Tin Star, Small
The Moravian Star incorporates a motif that has been carefully adapted from a 26-point star that originated about 1850 in Germany, as a drawing exercise in a Moravian boys school. The star is typically displayed during the Advent and Christmas seasons by Moravians worldwide, though it is said to have been originally created for an Epiphany celebration.
This Moravian Punched Tin Star measures 10" in diameter and features a cut-out design to allow light (bulb not included) to shine through. They are an attractive addition both indoors and out. If using outside, please place in a sheltered area.
