Moravian Punched Tin Star, Medium
The Moravian Star incorporates a motif that has been carefully adapted from a 26-point star that originated about 1850 in Germany, as a drawing exercise in a Moravian boys school. The star is typically displayed during the Advent and Christmas seasons by Moravians worldwide, though it is said to have been originally created for an Epiphany celebration.
Our Moravian Punched Tin Star has a pewter finish, measures 16" in diameter, and features a cut-out design to allow light (bulb not included) to shine through. It will be an attractive addition to your home both indoors and out. If using outside, please place in a sheltered area.
